I met Ruah Bull, my co-author for this book, while researching subtle energy and energy healing for a magazine article I was writing. By the time the article was published, Ruah and I had become trusted colleagues as well as friends.
Ruah and I wrote 3 books together. This book, Aromatherapy Anointing Oils, was the second. It was published in 2000 and the 2nd edition was published in 2015. In 2020, Brazil obtained foreign rights, and it was published in Portuguese.

SUMMARY
Aromatherapy Anointing Oils explores the historical and contemporary sacred art of anointing using essential oils (aromatherapy). The act of aromatherapy anointing bestows healing, honor, blessings, and more. It is not the source of what is bestowed—it is merely a tool to strengthen and manifest the intention of it.
More than 80 different essential oils are profiled in this book. The information includes the essential oils' spiritual teachings, their affect on subtle anatomy (energy centers and subtle bodies), the opportunities for their use, blessings and prayers that engage their teachings, and affirmations. Directions are given for creating sacred space, enhancing sacred space, making aromatherapy anointing oils, and performing anointing ceremonies. Eleven different anointing ceremonies categories are explained in detail, including Rite of Passage, Healing, Honoring, Gratitude, Love and Devotion, and Holidays.
In this 2nd edition, there are 30 new essential oils profiled, more examples of how people use anointing today, more and updated resources, and more recipes for anointing oils and anointing oil blends. There is also more information on the energy centers, essential oils for the seasons, essential oils used for sacred space; and essential oils that coordinate with the solstices, equinoxes, and moon stages. There are 4 new appendixes: essential oils that relate to "fruits of the spirit", attributes of essential oils, primary characteristics of essential oils, and how essential oils relate to different archangels.
